Mia White sopimukseen FC KTP:n kanssa
FC KTP on tehnyt alkavan kauden kattavan sopimuksen yhdysvaltalaisen Mia Whiten kanssa. Keskikentällä ja hyökkäyksessä pelaava White on voittanut maailmanmestaruuden ja olympiakultaa Yhdysvaltojen kuurojen maajoukkueessa.
Mia White on monipuolinen ja hyökkäysorientoinut pelaaja Yhdysvaltojen Coloradosta. Erinomaisen pelikäsityksensä, voimakkuutensa ja syöttövalikoimansa ansiosta hän kykenee pelaamaan useissa eri rooleissa niin keskikentällä kuin hyökkäyksessä. Lisäksi hän on yhtä vahva niin vasemmalla kuin oikealla jalallaan.
Parhaimmillaan White on keskikentällä hieman vapaammassa roolissa ja laajalla säteellä liikkuvana pelaajana tai hyökkäävänä keskikenttäpelaajana.
White on myös erittäin kamppailuvoimainen ja suuri apu joukkueelleen puolustussuuntaankin. Korkea työmoraali ja juoksukestävyys tekevät yhdysvaltalaisesta poikkeuksellisen hyvän pelaajan myös pallottomiin jaksoihin, esimerkiksi prässitilanteisiin.
FC KTP haluaa tällä rekrytoinnilla alleviivata, että ihminen on tärkein. Annetaan kaikki mahdollisuudet osallistua ja olla mukana, jos urheilulliset edellytykset täyttyvät. Ihmiset kohdataan yhdenvertaisesti riippumatta siitä, millainen hän on. Kuuro urheilija ei ole Suomen sarjoissa ensimmäinen laatuaan.
Miehissä lentopallon pääsarjassa ja naisissa jääkiekon korkeimmalla sarjatasolla on pelannut kuuro urheilija. He ovat kuuluneet myös mainittujen lajien maajoukkuevahvuuksiin.
Toivomme myös tulevilta vastustajiltamme ja erotuomareilta oikeanlaista suhtautumista asiaan.

Mia White Signs For KTP
FC KTP has signed with soccer player Mia White from United States of America for season 2024. Midfielder or forward White is Deaf World Cup Champion, 2023 and Deaflympics Champion, 2022.
Mia White is a versatile attacking player from Colorado, United States. She has played a variety of roles over her career, primarily in the midfield and forward lines. A strong and committed player with good vision and passing ability, she is most adept to playing a box-to-box or attacking midfield role.
Mia is a two-time gold medalist with the US Deaf Women’s National Team. She won the championship at the 2022 Deaflympics in Brazil, as well as the 2023 Deaf World Cup in Malaysia, where she started and played the full 90 minutes in nearly every match. Mia had an assist in the World Cup final versus Turkey.
Prior to her success with the USDWNT, Mia played four years of college soccer at the Rochester Institute of Technology. In her senior year, she was selected as team and conference Player of the Year, starting all 18 matches, and finishing third on the team in scoring and first both on the team and in the conference for assists. Mia also has experience playing soccer and futsal in Spain and has competed in the United Women’s Soccer league with the Rochester Lady Lancers and the Women’s Premier Soccer League with Boulder County. Mia is a physically strong player with an equally strong mentality. She is a good presence in the midfield or up top, reads the game well and can pass with both feet. Her good vision and passing have led her to contribute many assists at every team with which she has played. Mia is aggressive and enjoys the defensive aspect of the game. She is exceptionally fit and able to press and recover for a full 90 minutes. Finally, Mia enjoys the aerial game and is good at winning aerial duels
